Hello, You're right, LogMX doesn't support the "\t" symbol for Log4j patterns at this time. It will be fixed in the next release that will be available this summer. To use tab characters, you can replace (in the LogMX Log4j pattern) each "\t" with a real tab character. To write a tab character in Lo...

Hello, OK, it will be fixed for v1.3.2 (should be released in a few weeks). In the meantime, you can edit this value in the file "config/logmx.properties" of your LogMX directory. The line to edit is "nbLinesToParseBeforeFail=...", but this value will go back to 10 if you go to "Tools" > "Options" a...

I cant see the tables and columns ( i mean to say error , info and other flashy stuff) in eval version when I scp to a remote server. Is it that I have to write parser of my own or do i have to purchase the licensed version. Do you mean your log file is displayed in raw-text only? (i.e. no cell, ju...

Note: Next post done by user "aavish" was moved to: viewtopic.php?t=66 (it appeared that this post dealt more with remote logs and feature request, than a eval/pro version issue)

Hello, You can use the evaluation version for commercial purpose for 30 days only. Then, if you find LogMX matched your need, you should purchase the professional version to keep using LogMX for commercial purpose. We don't provide support/download anymore for v1.1.x since v1.2.x versions (january 2...

Hello,

Thank you for your post, I'm sure it will help other Linux users.

I agree with your solution, and indeed, most of the time, each user has his/her own ".bash_profile" located in his/her home directory.

Thank you for your feedback :D

Hello, These formats are not "natively" recognized by Eval and Pro versions, because LogMX wouldn't know the fields order you use, which date format you use, and if some fields are padded with whitespace. In Eval version, the simplest way to learn LogMX this format is to use a "Log4j Pattern Parser"...

Hello, You're right, this can be a little confusing. Here are some explanations: The Eval version must not be used for commercial purpose. Calling it "Free" will make Companies think it's OK to use it for months, and that they don't have to purchase it. We don't really want to provide a "time-limite...
