Correlate feature doesn't seem to do anything

Post by avi-ourcart »

Hi,

I use LogMX to view an API server log (merged) and it would help to group a batch of calls made in close proximity (say 500ms) to one another.
I thought Correlate would help me see them using dividers, but it doesn't seem to change anything in the display.
I'm seeing entries with timestamps apart more than 500ms without any bold line anywhere.

screenshots attached.
I'm running on Mac OSX 10.11.15
LogMX 5.5.0

Hello,

At this time, the entries are correlated by timestamp only when the Correlation feature is invoked. If new entries are added later to the entries table, these new entries are not correlated (the Correlation feature must be invoked to correlate them).

I understand that it is not great for you if you want to automatically correlate entries, but this choice was first made to improve performances in case a large number of entries are added each second using AutoRefresh.

Please let us know what you think, and if you confirm that you want to correlate new entries automatically, we will check if we can implement this without too much impact on performances.

Thank you for your feedback
Xavier
