OK, thanks. An acceptable workaround would be for LogMX to be able to load my private key file and ask me for the password to unlock it. From that point forward, it could handle the authentication using the private key. FYI, I looked at the man page for ssh-agent on my Linux machine, and it uses soc...

What launcher library are you using?
What type of launcher code are you using for Windows? Is it a third party tool, or something you wrote yourself?

Feature Request: Save GUI state for each log file
One thing I like about Chainsaw, is that it will store the state of the filter settings and GUI state for each log file that has been opened. For example, if I open a logfile and turn off some messages using the package panel, modify some of the visible columns in the table, and change the visible l...

Recent files list with merges
I have two remote log files I loaded that have very long path and filenames. I experimented with the Merge feature in 1.1.1. I then looked at the recent files list and the GUI dialog was wider than my screen because the merge "filename" was a concatenated string of the two original files. I recommen...

Feature Request: Message improvements
I have 2 requests for Message improvements: 1) Allow searching within the message display panel. Sometimes I have large messages that are a data dump of an object and I may be looking for a specific piece of data within a large message. Ctrl-F within the message panel would be great. Another keystro...

Another reason for working on domain names is that my company has many different internal networks. I might connect to hosts on the normal intranet where I may not use a domain name in my url. However, I also frequently connect to other internal networks where I must specify a domain name. I could e...

I verified that my account isn't locked. The line from my logmx.properties looks like this: userAccounts= I still get an error saying: Error while reading file "scp://user@bob:/path/to/file". [Exception] - Invalid login/password pair to connect to host "bob". Retype your password or change it in Net...

Problem with Known User Accounts
I have a host named "bob" that I am working with at the moment with an SCP connection. Yesterday, I added the login/host/password to the Known User Accounts in the Options dialog. Things were working OK. I reopened LogMX this morning, loaded the last log file again using the recent files list and ev...

I like the Workspace idea, but I still want a list of files/sessions/aliases that are independent of a Workspace. I'm thinking along the lines of how I use an SQL database tool like Squirrel SQL. See this screenshot: http://www.squirrelsql.org/screenshots/alias.html In this example, you can have a l...
